There really doesn’t seem to be a list out there where you can find these great shows that you probably never saw, mainly because most of them are out of Britain, but also because the advertising just didn’t reach many people.

Enter the mind of a serial killer.
Skins – 8.9/10 – Comedy | Drama – 2007 to Present

Coupling – 9.2/10 – Comedy – 2000 to 2004
On average, men and women think about sex every six seconds. Shorten that to every second, and you’ve got Coupling. It’s more than just a one night stand! When a couple gets together, it’s never just the two of them – they also bring baggage – and Susan and Steve are no exception. Their baggage is a crowd of best friends and exes who talk about all aspects of sex and relationships on their never-ending quest to find true love. Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps…
Carnivale – 9.0/10 – Drama | Fantasy | Mystery | Thriller – 2003 to 2005
1934, America. The Dustbowl. A very funny comedy about the lives of four 20-somethings and their quest to become adults.
Top Gear – 9.6/10 – 1978 to Present – Documentary | Comedy
To pass this off as “just another car show” without ever even watching it would be one hell of a shame. The first time I saw it listed I asked myself what the hell it was, truth is I didn’t expect much at all. Nowadays I look forward to every single episode. You don’t even have to like cars to enjoy this show.
Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May do a spectacular job every week presenting this show! They’re presented with some of the most unique challenges and carry them out with great hilarity. You’ve got great natural dialog by some supremely funny presenters and great cinematography to document it all. Truly a must-see and a real crime that it’s not broadcast in the US. Someone could become quite rich starting a network that just shows these British shows that aren’t broadcast in the US.
If I find more, which I inevitably will, I’ll add them.
If you need help finding where you can get them, e-mail me and I’ll try to help with that also.
Thanks, and please leave me a comment if this post has helped you. I’d love to hear from you guys!
